My name is Bethany Buck, but friends call me Bee.
I am so glad you found your way to my page, Bee Buck Photography. I am located in one of the most amazing places on Earth; Louisville, Kentucky.
With my photography, I love to capture my clients in the seconds that matter. Life is made up of seconds and when they add up they turn into moments. I feel so honored that I am chosen to capture these seconds for people. When I approach a session I tailor the session to my clients. My goal is to create timeless images that take them back to those seconds and they remember the moments. I enjoy working in any setting and enjoy photographing any occasion.
I have had a passion for photography from the moment I had the strength to hold a camera. My journey to becoming a professional photographer started when I was asked by my sister to photograph an engagement session. I have a special affinity for equine photography and the bulk of my work comes from Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. I have also been published in Business First and also used by Louisville City FC, featured on the US Soccer website, the United Soccer League, the 2017 Nov/Dec issue of Sophisticated Living Louisville and the US Polo Association website. In 2018, I partnered with Horse Racing Nation and began to photograph the best of American horse racing, primarily focusing on Churchill Downs, and Keeneland. In the beginning months of 2019, I was asked to provide photography for The Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs. Here I worked along side the amazing social media and marketing team.
When I am not behind the lens you can find me spending time with my Australian Shepherds, Zeek and Riley, and my cat, Peppermint, aka Pepper. I also volunteer for the Kentucky Derby Festival. Besides being in love with the beautiful, rolling hills of Kentucky, I am also in love with the beaches of Kiawah Island and the amazing country of England.
Please feel free to drop me an email! I can’t wait to get to know you!
